HELLO,
I’m Medini, an industrial designer passionate about creating products that bridge the gap between function and emotion. My approach is rooted in curiosity and simplicity. I believe that design should not only solve problems but also inspire new ways of experiencing the world. This portfolio is just the beginning, a glimpse into the journey of crafting objects that reflect innovation, story, and purpose.

EDUCATION
I studied Product Design and Innovation at Teesside University, UK (2019–2023), where I built a strong foundation in design thinking, prototyping, and product development. Alongside this, I completed a BA in Sociology from Mumbai University (2019–2022), which gave me a wider perspective on people, culture, and how design impacts everyday life.
EXPERIENCE
I began my professional journey at SÄ€R Studio, Pune (2023) as an Industrial Product Design Intern, where I worked on furniture design, technical drawings, prototyping, and material selection, collaborating closely with clients and production teams.
Currently, I am a Junior Industrial Designer at BlackCanvas Studio, Pune (2024 – Present), where I design products and lighting solutions. My work spans 3D CAD, rendering, and prototyping, with a strong focus on aesthetics, usability, and sustainability.
SKILLS
I use Fusion 360, Rhino, and Blender for 3D design, development, and technical drawings. For rendering and animation, I work with KeyShot and Blender, and for presentations and visuals I rely on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma. Alongside these tools, I bring skills in sketching, prototyping, material exploration, and technical detailing, which help me translate ideas into products that are both functional and meaningful.
